Monthly Update for July 2026 for Davenham & Moulton Ward Anti-Social Behaviour Davenham Reports received about a male youth camping near to the fishing pits, Mount Pleasant Road. The padlocks to the entrance gates had been cut off. No witnesses or CCTV.Reports of youths entering the abandoned buildings of Davenham Day Care Centre, Royal Gardens. Residents have challenged the youths and been subject to abuse from them. There has been a suggestion of drugs active at the location due to Nitro Gas cannisters being found.Report of 3 vans entering the grounds of the Davenham Day Care Centre, and people smashing the windows. Patrols attend it was a group of workers who were conducting a bat survey and had permission from the centre owners.Moulton Report of a fight on Main Road. The people involved have been identified and suspects arrested. The investigation is continuing.Report of a vehicle being damaged on Wilson Drive suspect has punched the wing mirror off the vehicle. Suspect identified and the incident has been dealt with be means of a Community Resolution.Kingsmead Numerous reports of youths climbing on the roof and accessing the abandoned building at the end of Royal Gardens. CWAC have been requested to secure the building.Reports received about youths gathering on Kensington Way Park, razzing around on electric scooter and bikes, number of youths identified and action being taken to address the anti-social behaviour. Suspect the same youths are involved in similar incidents on Regency Way and racing up and down Kensington Way.King Edward Close, report of a fire in the near garden of a property. Fire attended, the resident became aggressive towards fire staff.Leftwich Report of fireworks being set off by youths on the Rose Meadow Estate. Patrols attended the and established the address the fireworks were being let off from, it was a family gathering celebrating the 4th July. No offences were committed.Numerous reports of anti-social behaviour and assaults on Chatworth Close. Issues relate to shouting, swearing, screaming and fights. Appropriate action in response to the reported incidents and Weavervale Housing made aware as the incidents have involved occupants of their properties.Report of a vehicle window being smashed whilst parked on The Crescent.Report of a person living in a garage off Balmoral Road. Weavervale Housing secured the garage.Report of a group of males with their faces covered gathered on a car park on Hollands Road. Regular patrols of the area and any observed offences will be dealt with accordingly.Leftwich Report of numerous vehicles obstructing the pavement on Hollands Road. No obstructions observed when patrols attended.Report of a vehicle parked in a marked bay the car park near to Ernst Court and another vehicle has blocked it in. Prior to patrols attending the vehicle was moved.Reports raised about vehicle obstructions on the Rose Meadow Estate. Weekly Police Surgeries Thursday 3rd September, Hartford Village Hall, Chester Road, a police vehicle will be parked on the car park, between 6pm - 7pm. Wednesday 9th September, Tesco, Regency Way, Kingsmead, a police vehicle will be parked on the car park, between 11am – 12pm. Saturday 19th September, Whitlow Lane, Moulton, a police vehicle will be parked near to Morrisons Daily, between 12pm – 1pm. Thursday 24th September, Greenbank Lane, Greenbank, a police vehicle will be parked near to the shops, between 4pm – 5pm.
